And they’re great for winter, especially if you often have problems with a productive cough, if you prepare them exactly in the way described in the recipe below.
The homemade syrup that cures the cough and removes lung mucus is prepared very easily, and here’s the recipe:
Ingredients required:
- 500 gr. of carrots
- 3-4 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons of fresh ginger
Preparation:
Cut the carrots into small pieces and place them in a pot. Pour enough water to cover them, then cook them on low heat. When the water boils, add the ginger and let it boil until the carrots soften. Then strain the carrots and ginger, but do not throw away the water. Place carrots and ginger in a blender and mix until you get a smooth paste, and when the water becomes lukewarm, add the honey and stir until it melts. Now add the paste of carrot and ginger and mix all this again, until you get a syrupy-like mixture.
Usage:
Take 3 to 4 tablespoons each day. And once you start using it, on the second day, the cough and mucous will be significantly relieved.
